Building Works

We carry out all aspects of building work, including new builds, extensions, alterations and conversions for both domestic and commercial customers.

Joinery

As part of our main contract, we undertake all first and second fix joinery work ourselves, including fitted kitchens, bathrooms and furniture.  We can also carry out separate joinery contracts.

Roofing

We carry out all aspects of roofing work, from stripping and re-slating complete new roofs to work on smaller, flat roofs.  We are one of the only companies in the area trained to install the ‘TopSeal’ flat roofing system – a revolutionary fibre-glass system that is guaranteed to be weather proof for 20 years. 

Listed / Specialist

We have worked on many listed buildings  and have worked closely with English Heritage and DEFRA on some buildings of historic importance in the area.

Our work is carried out to a high standard and we ensure that work is carried out competently and sympathetically.  We have had to use specialist materials in a specialised manner on a number of occasions (i.e. lime plastering on reed matting).  Some of our staff have gained qualifications in order that this work can be carried out properly.

Barn Conversions

As our name suggests, we have carried out a large number of barn conversions in the past.  Planning policy nowadays means that suitable barns are becoming few and far between.  Barn conversions that we have done have entailed the use of the whole spectrum of our workers and their valuable skills.

Landscaping

We have carried out a number of landscaping projects in the past which entailed ground works, walling, flagging etc.  We have re-built the historic steps at the Brewery Arts Centre as well as other private commissions.
