Dairy Cottage

The buildings comprised of a small cottage with attached barn area, a traditional field barn and a one storey block of separate loose boxes with a two storey hay loft area at the end.

All the buildings were Grade II Listed and, after a lot of time and effort, we eventually secured planning to convert all three into dwellings.

At Dairy Cottage, we were permitted to knock through into the adjoining barn area to create a larger dwelling. From a tiny, dark little cottage that was crying out for some TLC, we have created a spacious kitchen/diner, lounge, utility/WC, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Although it is still cosy, we have brought the cottage sympathetically into the 21st century.
